Financial Planning Service

The Financial Planning Service is for those clients who want to know that they have a financial adviser that has a current file on their financial affairs but do not feel that they need active management of their finances.

On an annual basis we will update their file with the value of all their investments as well as carry out an annual review meeting. As a client you will be assured that at any time you need to contact us, we will hold updated information and will be able to provide any necessary advice without delay. You will receive an annual report but there will be no active management in place.

This retainer will only be offered to a small number of clients. Unmanaged portfolios are unable to react to changes in political or economic circumstances and for these reasons most clients would choose a service level with active management. In addition, tax law affects all clients, regardless of their stage of life. Whether working and concerned about income and investment tax or in retirement and disturbed by our beneficiaries' potential inheritance tax bill, expert advice is invaluable.

Qualification

Access to the service will be limited to clients who are Base Rate tax payers with manageable assets below £50,000.

Your manageable assets will usually include cash deposits, investments including property, but would normally exclude your main residence.
